Chambersburg Police announce passing of K-9 Basco
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Chambersburg Police have announced the passing of K-9 Basco after seven years of service.
According to the Chambersburg Police Department, Basco served the Chambersburg community with his partner, PFC John Sgrignoli, for seven years until his retirement in 2021.
K-9 Basco was involved in multiple suspect apprehensions and narcotics seizures during his career, per police.
K-9 Basco died of natural causes.
