WATCH: Heavy Rock Island, Davenport police presence after incident
At least one person was in custody after an incident Monday afternoon in the area of Howell Street and Rockingham Road, Davenport.
Shortly before 2 p.m., the Our Quad Cities News crew saw two Rock Island squad cars head toward Davenport on the Centennial Bridge.
Once our crew arrived, we saw technicians take prints from a Rock Island K9 Ford Explorer parked on the 200 block of South Howell Street.
Around the corner, on the 1900 block of Dixwell Street, officers were at a house, where they told someone inside to 'Come out with your hands up.' Eventually, one person came out of the house, was handcuffed and placed in a squad car, then was transported from the scene.
Police remained on the scene at 3 p.m.
We will stay in contact with police to provide details about the incident as soon as they are available.
