Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr mourns the loss of Major General Issa Al-Ali
KUWAIT CITY, April 15: The President of Kuwait and Asian Aquatics Federation (KAAF), Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr Al-Sabah, on behalf of the KAAF Board of Directors and its members, mourned the passing of Major General (retired) Issa Shuaib Ibrahim Al-Ali — former President of the Sea Sports Club. Sheikh Al-Badr paid tribute to the late Al-Ali's distinguished sporting career, citing his tireless dedication to elevating the presence of Kuwait in regional and international sporting arenas. He described the deceased as a true embodiment of sportsmanship, marked by humility, selflessness, and an unwavering commitment to the advancement of sports in Kuwait. He also stated that with the passing of Al-Ali, the Kuwaiti sports community has lost one of its most loyal and respected figures. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the sports and aquatics communities, and all who knew and admired the late Al-Ali. He concluded with a prayer for Almighty Allah to grant mercy upon the departed soul and for strength and solace for his loved ones.

Ramadan charity drive by NMS
New Millennium School-Bahrain undertook a charity drive by donating boxes of essential grocery items to the Al Eslah Society (KAAF), a non-governmental organization interested in social, welfare, and charitable activities around the Kingdom, during the holy month of Ramadan. The fund was raised through the 'Charity Book Sale' activity conducted by the Junior and Senior Students' Council. The boxes were handed over to the members of the Al Eslah Society (KAAF), who visited the school on 17th March 2025. Chairman Dr. Ravi Pillai, Managing Director Mrs. Geetha Pillai, and Principal Dr. Arun Kumar Sharma extended their wishes for the holy month of Ramadan and appreciated the students for their noble gesture, which displayed their sense of social responsibility.
