Cops return bag left behind in auto to Andhra woman

Berhampur: Police on Wednesday returned a bag containing valuables to a woman from Andhra Pradesh, after she left it behind in an autorickshaw during her visit to the
Thakurani Yatra
in Berhampur.
K Kalyani Kaur (32), from Palasa, had lodged a complaint at Bada Bazar police station on Sunday after the bag was left behind when her family went for Maa Budhi Thakurani's darshan at Desibehera Street.
"After verifying the CCTV footage, we traced the auto," said a police officer.
The auto driver had kept the bag in his home. He planned to hand it over to the police but could not do so as he was busy in ferrying devotees for the festival. "When we asked him about the missing trolley, he promptly handed it over to us," said SP (Berhampur) Saravana Vivek M.
The bag was handed over to the complainant after verification. Kaur expressed happiness after she got back the missing trolley bag.
