In an earlier interview with PTI, Kareena admitted, 'As an actor, you want to try and do something different every time. For me, it is difficult because I've been known for playing Poo and Geet… This thing has been fixed in people's minds. So, that has been a conscious effort that now I want to do different things."
Stylist's Take on Poo's Pop Culture Relevance
Speaking to Vogue India, Karina's stylist Divyak D'Souza said, 'Poo became a gay icon—that level of fabulousness is aspirational." He added, 'She fit the glamorous mean-girl trope we saw in Hollywood movies, but had the heart and soul of a desi girl. It resonated with audiences here."

Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh once recreated the 'good looks, good looks and good looks" scene for an Instagram reel. Ananya Panday dressed as Poo for a Halloween party. And even at Anant Ambani's grand wedding ceremony, Shloka Ambani wore a reimagined version of the coral sharara set from the iconic 'Bole Chudiyan" song.
