MSC Cruises introduces fixed-price specialty dining and restaurant packages
Specialty dining on MSC Cruises ships will now mostly have fixed prices for a three-course meal. Guests will pay a set price for their choice of one starter, a main course and dessert.
Guests will pay an additional charge for special menu items like Ozaki beef.
Two restaurants will still have a la carte ordering available: Kaito Sushi and Hola! Taco and Cantina.
Specialty dining packages
In another new development, guests can purchase specialty dining packages with up to four restaurants for select cruises departing Miami, Port Canaveral and New York this summer. The option will be available for remaining eligible ships by next April, MSC said.
MSC said guests who purchase a specialty dining package before their cruise can save up to 20%.
Selected specialty restaurants may be repeated without restriction except for Butcher's Cut, which is limited to one visit per multi-restaurant package.
Ships that have two or fewer specialty dining restaurants will not offer the packages.
MSC said the changes to specialty dining are intended to simplify the experience and increase value and flexibility.
