During the recent audio launch of the movie, Silambarasan opened up about an intense scene he had with Kamal Haasan. Simbu about shooting the scene The trailer of the movie featured a tense moment where Silambarasan's character grips Kamal's character's neck. Silambarasan recalled how that particular scene came to life on set, revealing that it was director Mani Ratnam who encouraged him to deliver it with full intensity. 'When I grabbed his neck tightly, Kamal sir gave a terrible reaction. I was confused — did it hurt him or was he just performing? I didn't know what to do. If I didn't do it properly, Mani sir would say 'cut'; and if I continued and it was actually hurting him, Kamal Haasan would scold me. But when I eased the grip later, the shot turned out well,' Simbu admitted at the audio launch event.
