JPMorgan Taps William Blair's Kallop for Strategic Investor M&A

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has hired William Kallop from William Blair & Co. for its mergers and acquisitions group focused on private equity firms and sovereign wealth funds.
Kallop is joining the New York-based bank's Strategic Investor Group M&A as head of consumer and retail, as well as head of business services, according to a memo reviewed by Bloomberg News. He will report to Ray Raimondi, who was hired last year as head of the bank's North America Strategic Investor Group, the memo shows.
