This top-rated concealer with SPF is the only summer staple we plan to wear

If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission – learn more We love nothing more than a concealer that can magically mask the dark bags under our eyes, any blemishes. While concealer may be our make-up essential, when it comes to skincare the hero is SPF. However, we rarely see a product that combines the two – until we found Kalme's Chameleon Concealer SPF20. The Chameleon Concealer SPF20 is a multi-functional essential that is a make-up and skincare hybrid, we never knew we needed. Come the summer months we prefer minimal make-up, as we'll be sweating it all off, which is why we lean to a concealer as the sole beauty product we wear. But we also need SPF, and this creation ticks both boxes. The Chameleon Concealer is a hybrid of concealer, colour-corrector and sun with a patented caper extract (Derma Sensitive) and Biolin, which work to hydrate the skin, reduce redness, as well as strengthen the skin barrier. The mineral sunscreen protection offers SPF20, while the advanced tone-matching concealer colour adapts to your skin tone to correct redness on the skin, as well as purple under tested and safe for use on sensitive skin. BUY NOW FOR £29.95 What may confuse some is the Kalme product comes in one colour, and this is because it has been formulated with advanced tone-matching technology that adapts to the skin. When applied to the skin it appears green, but the lightweight liquid formula cleverly matches your skin tone, colour corrects and conceals, for flawless coverage, and without looking orange. Its genius technology matches the skin, covers any blemishes, redness, rosacea flare ups, as well as dark under eye circles. Not only does it cover the targeted areas, it also smooths the skin, and achieves a naturally flawless finish, whether you apply on targeted areas or blend lightly over the skin as a primer/foundation. The fuss-free concealer blends effortlessly into the skin, but also hydrates the skin too. The formula blends patented caper extract, known as Derma Sensitive, as well as prebiotic Biolin, which combine to reduce redness, hydrate the skin, reduce capillary leakage, and protect the skin barrier. The lightweight formula offers SPF20, which offers the all-important UV protection we need all year long, especially in the summer. The mineral sun protection is suitable for sensitive skin too. Whether you apply on specific areas, all over the face for an even base, if it's the only beauty product you wear, or you layer under other products, is entirely up to you. But, it just proves how versatile this product is and why it's a failsafe item in your beauty cupboard. Shoppers are thrilled with its results. One customer, named Liz, gushed: 'This product is amazing. I get very flushed cheeks in certain temperatures, with Kalme concealer it's not visible, I love this product.' Another customer, Susan, added: 'I can't live without. Smooths out the skin and levels out the skin tone. Perfect product!' More Trending While Tracy weighed in: 'I have had rosacea for years and tried all types of concealer/make to cover the redness. Kalme concealer has been the best by far and this is my go to for everyday use.' The Kalme Chameleon Concealer can be purchased as a one-off at £29.95, or as a subscription, which could save you more. The monthly subscription could save you 25% as it slashes the price of the make-up and skincare hybrid to £22.47, or subscribe to a three-month top-up for £25.46. If you want to save even more (of course you do, who doesn't?) we have an exclusive discount that could save you a further 10%. 1 in 10 people in the UK suffer with rosacea - but this skincare range helps
Metro journalists select and curate the products that feature on our site. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission – learn more Bianca from County Durham had pretty much flawless skin throughout her teen years and early twenties. But her first pregnancy at 22 triggered her developing rosacea — a long-term inflammatory skin condition. What started out as the occasional flare-up of redness and sensitivity progressed into more substantial rashes, peppered with small spots. And unfortunately, this didn't clear up after she'd given birth. GPs suggested various over-the-counter creams, but none of them made any difference — with some even making the symptoms worse. 'Over the next nine years, I went from having regular flare ups, to becoming permanently red, bumpy, and blotchy across my cheeks and nose,' Bianca shares. 'It got to the stage whereby I couldn't even think of leaving the house without a thick base layer of foundation to cover up the redness — and I'd often need to reapply it during the day.' Desperate for relief, Bianca says she began spending pretty much every spare minute searching online for product suggestions. Luckily, she stumbled across a woman on Instagram with a very similar story to her own — and she swore by Kalme products. Inspired by this woman's results, Bianca decided to try out a few of the products for herself, and she was instantly impressed. 'Unlike anything else I had tried for my rosacea so far, my skin felt instantly calmer and more comfortable when I applied the Kalme Day Defence Cream,' Bianca explains. 'One time I ran out of it — and didn't re-buy it for a few weeks — and almost immediately my skin started to flare red more regularly, and feel itchy and sensitive. Now, I always make sure I have a supply.' The Kalme Day Defence Cream is included in this brilliant bundle — alongside the Kalme Night Cream, and Kalme Cleanser. And best of all, Metro readers you can bank an extra £10 off when they apply the code METRO10 at check-out. More Trending Made with a combination of unique skincare innovations to reduce redness, the hero ingredient of the range has to be a patented caper extract called Derma Sensitive, which has been clinically proven in trials to reduce redness and skincare sensitivity by up to 70%. Meanwhile, Indinyl has a 24-hour moisturising action to combat dryness, and the antioxidant NDGA reduces the underlying inflammation that causes bumpiness and spots. Plus, the moisturiser also provides protection against UV damage. Unhelpfully, the beginnings of rosacea can look quite a lot like adult acne, dermatologist Dr Eva Melegh explains. 'Catching and treating rosacea in its earlier stages is the most effective way of not letting it intensify and spread — but unfortunately, it's still one of the most misdiagnosed skin conditions.' As far as Bianca's concerned, spreading awareness is key. With rosacea now a far smaller part of her day-to-day life, she hopes that sharing her experience will help other sufferers feel less alone and helpless. 'I'll always have rosacea, but it doesn't rule my life like it used to,' she adds. 'I now know exactly how to keep the condition under control.' Consider us sold.
