Ex-Boston College G Chas Kelley transfers to Georgia Tech

May 20 - Former Boston College guard Chas Kelley is staying in the Atlantic Coast Conference and transferring to Georgia Tech. "Let's work," Kelley wrote on social media Monday above a graphic featuring him in a Georgia Tech uniform. Kelley spent the past three seasons with Boston College and averaged 3.7 points and 1.6 assists over 88 games (22 starts). He made 15 starts across 31 appearances for the Eagles last season, posting career bests of 4.4 points and 2.0 assists per game. Kelley, listed at 6-foot-3, joins former Miami (Ohio) guard Kam Craft, Missouri center Peyton Marshall and Pacific guard Lamar Washington in choosing to transfer to Georgia Tech this spring. --Field Level Media

Tipton added that Craft also has received interest from the Cincinnati Bearcats, Clemson, Oklahoma State, Florida State, Rutgers, Michigan, Vanderbilt and others. Craft, who starred at Buffalo Grove High School in Illinois, joined the RedHawks' roster in April 2024. CLEVELAND (AP) — Kam Craft had 24 points and Miami (Ohio) beat Eastern Michigan 81-75 on Thursday in the Mid-American Conference Tournament quarterfinals. Craft also added eight rebounds for the RedHawks (24-8). Reece Potter added 15 points while shooting 6 of 11 from the field and 2 for 3 from the line while he also had eight rebounds. Evan Ipsaro had 14 points and shot 3 of 4 from the field and 8 of 12 from the free-throw line. Christian Henry led the Eagles (16-16) in scoring, finishing with 24 points. Eastern Michigan also got 21 points and two steals from Jalen Terry. Da'Sean Nelson finished with 17 points, seven rebounds and two steals. Miami went into halftime tied with Eastern Michigan 29-29. Craft's 16-point second half helped Miami finish off the victory. ___
