The director thus couldn't stop revisiting the golden memories of the movie that starred an ensemble cast, including Hrithik Roshan, Priety Zinta and Amitabh Bachchan. He dropped a video on Instagram alongside a touching note that soon captured the War actor's attention. Farhan Akhtar posted a montage video that beautifully features glimpses from the iconic scenes of the movie Lakshya to mark its 21st birthday. The director even added the movie's patriotic feelings-awakening song Kandhon Se Milte Hain Kandhe, crooned by Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam, Hariharan, Roop Kumar Rathod, Kunal Ganjawala and Vijay Prakash. The movie showcases how Karan undergoes a series of tasks to become a focused army cadet, finally paving the way for him to be promoted as the acting Captain during the outbreak of hostilities in Kargil, Ladakh. Afterwards, the entire battalion sets off on its mission until it succeeds.
