Laura Anderson sent temperatures soaring on Thursday as she shared a a handful of photos from her current stay in the Maldives. The former Love Island star, 36, is enjoying her first holiday with new footballer boyfriend Clark Robertson, a centre-back for Scottish Premiership club Dundee. The pair are staying at the luxury Kandima Beach resort, which costs from £195 ($264) per night. In one snap, Laura showed off her incredible figure in a stylish chocolate brown bikini, featuring a bandeau bikini top and high-rise bottoms. She accessorised with a pair of black oversized shades and a beige straw hat as she made the most of soaring temperatures on the picturesque island archipelago. Later in the evening, Laura looked radiant in a figure-hugging floral silk dress from House Of CB as she posed for several photos with her boyfriend ahead of their evening out. She opted for a pair of white thong sandals and styled her long blonde locks in a voluminous blowout as she beamed alongside Clark. Meanwhile, her boyfriend modelled a smart casual look for their night out by wearing a light grey textured polo top and matching shorts. Laura also took to her Instagram story to share a mirror selfie with her followers as she prepared to go go-karting. Showcasing her glorious tan and taut tummy, she wore a skin-tight white crop top and a pair of distressed blue denim shorts as she posed up a storm in her hotel room. Laura went Instagram official with Clark Robertson in October last year, sharing an array of loved-up snaps together. Her new relationship comes after her very public split from ex Gary Lucy, 43, with who she shares daughter Bonnie, 18 months. The pair met during Celebs Go Dating in 2022, however, they split shortly before she announced her pregnancy in February 2023. Laura revealed that she felt 'attacked' when Gary announced their break-up while she was pregnant as she felt she was stripped of the pregnancy she had envisioned. Speaking to Zoe Hardman and Georgia Dayton on Made By Mammas: The Podcast, she said: 'Technically me and Gary did plan to have Bonnie and we were really happy and excited and it was around Christmas time. I knew straight away and took a test. 'I was so excited to become a mum, I feel like I'm going to cry if I talk about this but the personal stuff with her dad, I always envisioned having my partner there and like it being all about you being pregnant but I didn't have that. Laura continued: 'We broke up for a reason. He made it public without telling me he was going to tell everyone that we weren't together the same day we were going to announce that I was pregnant. 'Even though we weren't technically together I was hoping we would work it out but as soon as he put it out into the public it felt like an attack and like we're not going to work this out, it's now public and he did that the day we were going to announce I was pregnant. 'So what should have been a magical time and behind the scenes might have been a little bit difficult it then turned into a media circus of negativity. 'I was trolled because of the way we broke up I never really said anything negative because I was vulnerable and wanted our relationship to work and was scared to say anything.'

I spent a week at a 5-star hotel in the Maldives — here's how much it really cos
After 24 hours of travel, I thought I'd be racing to bed, but as I wander along the beachside path, I stop in my tracks. The turquoise water is teeming with tropical fish of every colour, a kaleidoscope of orange, pink and purple swirling in constant motion. My jaw drops as a baby shark glides silently beneath the surface. I'm in the Maldives, in a hotel perched on a cyan blue atoll that's unlike anywhere I've ever stayed – and it's fair to say I've laid my head on some impressive pillows. From the The Headlands in Newquay, to the world-famous Atlantis on Dubai's The Palm, it takes a lot to leave me speechless. The five-star Kandima – a 'go-to' haunt for Premier League footballers – has everything you'd expect from luxury accommodation in this part of the world: over-water bungalows, swim-up bars and arguably the most aesthetic scenery on Earth. Oh, and it's on its own island. But the feature that truly sets it apart? An all-inclusive package which means the cost of every snack and tipple, from a la carte restaurants to your mini bar, is included. I was ready to suspend reality. Sea plane: Price varies depending on which resort you're staying at, but for me it cost £544.96 per person for return flights. Kandima's Sunset Beach Pool Villa with Swirl Pool: £747.55 per night – this is the accommodation I lodged in. Alternatively, opt for a Beach & Sky studio for £469.13 per night. Private dining experience: £165 per person. Floating breakfast: £118 per person. Sunset cruise: £51.20 per person. Couples full body massage at Eskape Spa: £155 per person. Extra food and beverages: £103 for two. TOTAL: £6,370.96 per person On arrival at Kandima, I am greeted like an old friend and shown to my villa. You can stroll along the beach or jump in one of the hotel buggies, which drop you right at your door. There are 270 studios and villas to choose from, each with bright, light interiors and blue touches, inspired, of course, by the Indian ocean. The most basic Beach & Sky studios sit within a complex of four across a two-storey villa. These are the most typically 'hotel room' like, but are still bigger than most London flats. The top-end of the premium offering are the overwater bungalows, which sit at the end of a jetty. Naturally, they come with an infinity pool and a private deck. I stayed in the Sunrise Beach Pool Villa, a mid-range option with its a hot tub. Sat on the beachfront, these spacious beach villas have a private deck which extends towards a pool and out onto the beach. The open air bathroom is stunning, with a standalone tub, rain shower, a second shower, day bed and the aforementioned hot tub. A word of warning: when you go to the toilet in the night, expect to do so under the watchful eye of countless geckos. Minutes after arriving, I submerge myself in my private pool and sip on a complimentary bottle of champagne, before heading to one of the hotel's two outdoor pools – including the longest pool in the Maldives. A week wasn't enough to do everything Kandima has to offer – and in keeping with the theme, pretty much everything is included in your stay. I rose bright and early for morning yoga on the beach. You can also hire bikes and cycle to the lesson, serenaded by the dawn chorus. From sunrise to sunset, you can watch the sun go down on a cruise with a glass of bubbles for £51.20 per person. If you're lucky, you'll get dolphins accompanying your boat around the island. For something more active, the resort offers a range of water sports. Paddleboarding and snorkelling are included in your stay. I saw every fish imaginable, as well as a rather terrifying adult shark. Avoid the Moray eels – they bite. Of course, after a hard day of swimming and fish-spotting, the only antidote is a full-body massage, which start from £155 per person. It's pricey, but the masseuse seemed to rid my back of every knot. Hearing the waves lap on the shore outside only added to the experience. The all-inclusive package allows you to dine almost without limit at any of Kandima's 10 restaurants and bars. Sea Dragon offers a la carte Asian sea food. I indulged in delicious crispy squid, along with Vietnamese fresh spring rolls, chicken satay and Vietnamese-style stir-fried beef. For breakfast, you can choose between buffet menus at Zest or Flavour. I ordered a fresh omelette and espresso every morning. Azure, another a la carte offering, serves up traditional Mediterranean food, with an impressive seafood selection from scallops to salmon and sea bass. The steak restaurant, Smoked, served a mean slab of beef, perfectly cooked to my requested medium-rare. If you want to up your content game, Instagrammable floating breakfasts can be ordered for £118. For that price, you get fresh pastries, waffles, salads, omelettes, fresh fruit and pressed juices (photos optional). You can also book a private dining experience, which for me, was a highlight of the trip. Picture this: you walk down to the beach, where a table decorated with fairylights is set for two. There's Caesar and Greek salads, aged black angus striploin, lobster, grilled tiger prawns, lamb rack, chicken, rainbow trout, mussels, broccoli, halloumi, tuna fried rice and hasselback potatoes. At £165 per person, it's expensive, but it's truly a feast. More Trending It's worth noting that any food you order poolside is extra; this includes the Breeze Pool Bar and the Beach Club. At Breeze, the lobster (£31), as well as the steak sandwich (£18) were divine, while the Beach Club blew me away with their cob salad (£14), asparagus (£9), nachos (£9) and classic burger and chips (£22). Travelling to the Maldives from London is no mean feat. There are various routes via the UAE, but for our trip we took a six-hour flight to Bahrain, followed by a four-hour connection to the Male, the Maldivian capital. Then it was another 45 minutes by sea plane to the island. As a nervous flyer, this 10-person propeller plane was more than a little daunting. Do you have a story to share? All the sports stars who have flocked to Kandima in the Maldives for their holiday - including a current Premier League champion, a champions League winner and a host of international stars
Premier League stars past and present are flocking in their droves to one resort in the Maldives for their holidays. Kandima has established itself as one of the most in-demand Maldivian islands since it was built in 2017. Extensive work continues to be done to expand the island resort and indeed extend to other nearby islands. However, the clear blue waters you have to see to believe is the calling card of Kandima and plenty of stars have had to check it out. Millions has been invested in island that is just 3km long but inhabited by just Kandima. Let's take a look at who has taken the trip to paradise. Ederson (Man Cit y) After winning the treble in 2023, Ederson celebrated in style by heading to the luxury island for his holiday. This season ended a run of four straight Premier League title for the Brazilian, but he might well be the most decorated current pro to grace the resort. He left his gloves at home and played out on pitch during his stay! Joe Gomez (Liverpool) The Liverpool defender has just picked up the second Premier League winners medal of his career and back in 2022, he also enjoyed the delights of the Maldives with Kandima. The defender celebrated his eight-year anniversary with his partner during his trip. Still 28, Gomez still has plenty of his career in the top flight left. Marc Cucurella (Chelsea) Cucurella hasn't actually been to the resort yet, but he is scheduled to later this year after having to cancel last year when he was included in Spain's Euro-winning squad. It's understood the Chelsea star will be taking his whole family, much of whom you are able to get to know and see on Season 2 of Married to the Game. Former Premier League stars include: Daniel Agger (Liverpool) The Dane stayed on the island back in 2020 just before the Covid outbreak (not a bad place to go before being locked down!). He played 175 Premier League games for Liverpool and won both the FA Cup and Champions League during his time at Anfield. Wes Brown (Man United) The 23-time England international visited the resort when it first opened back in 2017 just when he was playing for Kerala Blasters in nearby India. As a five-time Premier League champion and two-time Champions League winner, he might be the most decorated footballer to grace the gorgeous beaches of Kandima. Patrick Cutrone (Wolves, now Como) The former AC Milan wonderkid went to the Maldives in the summer of 2022. He went with Italian defender Davide Calabria (who is at Bologna on-loan from AC Milan). After stuttering during his time in England, Cutrone has found his feet again with Como and has 30 goals in nearly 100 games. Alberto Moreno (Liverpool) The former Liverpool left-back now plying his trade in Serie A with Como went on honeymoon to Kandima with his wife, Lilia Granadilla back in 2021. Judging by his socials, the Spaniard enjoys being in the Maldives but had particular praise for Kandima. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Jack Butland (@jbutland_) Other sports stars include: Davide Calabria (AC Milan) Mohamed Shami (Indian cricketer) Ricardinho (Portuguese six-time world futsal champion) Sean Garnier (Red Bull Freestyle champion) Kandima is not your typical Maldives getaway as it boasts a go-kart track, art classes, a full-size football pitch, tennis and badminton courts and will soon open PlaySpace with VR gaming, a bowling alley, arcade games, escape rooms and karaoke rooms. That's in addition to what you'd expect - a ton of water-based activities and a top of the line kids club. But what's really driving the star to Kandima is sure to be the jaw-dropping views with turquoise ocean and sandy beaches. More and more sport stars seem to be heading down to the islands.
