Record-breaking victory for YMCC at KDMA league
Kanpur: Adarsh Kumar Pal and Ayush Shukla's outstanding centuries powered YMCC to a record-breaking victory over Geetanjali Club by 282 runs in the KDMA league match held at Bhatt ground on Monday. Opting to bat first, YMCC posted an imposing total of 4 for 394 runs in 37 overs, the highest by any team in the current KDMA league season. Adarsh Kumar Pal struck 118, while Ayush Shukla contributed 104. Sachin Yadav chipped in with 70 runs. Shivansh Trivedi was the most successful bowler for Geetanjali, claiming 2 wickets for 80 runs. In response, Geetanjali Club managed 8 for 112 in 15 overs, with Ambujar making 40 and Saurabh Singh scoring 27.
