Suspect charged in Kansas City, Kansas deadly shooting last week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 22-year-old man is facing charges in connection to a deadly shooting last week in Kansas City, Kansas. Andrew Holmes was charged in Wyandotte County on Monday with one count of voluntary manslaughter. Officers with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department responded to a shooting on April 24, just after 5 p.m. at the Terrace Pointe Apartments near South 72nd Street and Kansas Avenue. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man outside, dead from apparent gunshot wounds. He has been , a resident of KCK. Police investigating deadly shooting at KCK apartment complex
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Detectives with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department (KCKPD) are investigating a deadly shooting Thursday evening. Questions remain after Wednesday's homicide in KC's Northland KCKPD officers responded to the shooting just after 5 p.m. at the Terrace Pointe Apartments near S. 72nd Street and Kansas Avenue. Police said a man was pronounced dead at the scene. No suspects are in custody at this time, according to police. Missing KCK man's body is found in Missouri River, according to police
The body of a Kansas City, Kansas, man who had been missing for almost a month was found in the Missouri River on Thursday. Kansas City, Missouri Police and Fire Departments were called to 7808 East Levee Road for a reported body in the Missouri River. On Friday, the body was positively identified as Brandon Anfinson, according to Nancy Chartrand, spokesperson for the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department. Anfinson, 39, went missing from his home in the 1300 block of S. 35th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, on March 21, police said. Anfinson's death is now being investigated by Kansas City, Kansas police's major case unit. Anfinson owned his own business, A1 Construction, was a father of three children, and had been married for 20 years, according to a family member who previously spoke with The Star. A GoFundMe for the family had raised almost $3,000 as of Friday evening. 'This is not the update we ever wanted or expected to write. Our hearts are broken, and the pain of this loss is unimaginable,' a statement from the GoFundMe reads. 'Brandon was [a] deeply loved son, a husband, a friend and his presence brought light into the lives of so many. We are beyond grateful to everyone who has supported this fundraiser. Body pulled from Missouri River identified as missing 39-year-old KCK man
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department confirmed on Friday that a body pulled from the Missouri River on Thursday has been positively identified as 39-year-old Brandon Anfinson. Anfinson's family reported him missing from his home in the Argentine neighborhood of KCK on March 21. KCKPD said since that time, law enforcement, family, friends and the community have conducted extensive searches of the area for him. On Thursday, Kansas City, Missouri Police and fire departments were called to 7808 E. Levee Road on a report of a body in the Missouri River. Two killed, two injured in shooting at Kansas City, Kansas, apartment complex
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are investigating after a shooting left two people dead and two people injured outside a Kansas City, Kansas, apartment complex Saturday night. According to the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department, at about 9 p.m., officers were called to an apartment near North 70th Terrace and Garden Drive on reports of a shooting. KCK doctor got paid by health care companies to commit fraud When KCKPD arrived, they reported finding two men suffering from gunshot wounds outside the complex. Two others were hit by gunfire but were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. This is an ongoing investigation, according to KCKPD.
