Omagh woman Karen Fahy was used to providing people with refuge when needed, so it was no surprise to her family and friends when she became a foster carer.
The eldest of seven, with six younger brothers, Karen says the family home was an open house, offering a sofa for anyone who needed somewhere to lay their head for a night or two.
