📊 Gladbach ace joins Bundesliga legend in very exclusive club
Former French youth international forward Alassane Plea has become somewhat of a cult hero for Bundesliga giant Borussia Mönchengladbach, and his goalscoring efforts today only cement that status a standout at OGC Nice, the 32-year-old is amidst his seventh season in Gladbach, and though his goalscoring exploits are not what they once were, a hat-trick today at Werder Bremen has placed him alongside some illustrious company.

Plea now can claim the honour of equaling German footballing icon Karl-Heinz Rummenigge of being just the second player to ever score two hat-tricks against the same opponent away from home.
He may be off his career-best season in Gladbach colours but his crucial display in front of goal today could push the club back into Europe next season.
