Thousands gather at B-U for Edikted pop-up
VESTAL, NY (WIVT/WBGH) – Thousands of Binghamton University Students waited in line for a trendy fashion pop up on campus.
Edikted, is a popular clothing store based out of Los Angeles tailored to young women.
The brand is holding pop up giveaways at different East coast universities including, University of Buffalo, Syracuse, Columbia and more.
With their near 800,000 followers on Instagram, Edikted is using the college tour as a way to promote their products.
It's hard to miss their bright pink truck where employees are handing out tote bags, tank tops, socks, and stickers.
Sophie Karmazin, the president of Sigma Delta Tau, organized the event.
'Helping girls kind of get their mind off of everything and do something fun before having to go to the library like I'm about to go to the library now but I figured this would be a really fun event to kinda get some coffee get some sweets brownies cookies and it's a good little pick me up before you have to study,' says Karmazin.
Students could spin a wheel to win prizes like discounts and gift cards.
The event had over a thousand students showing up waiting to receive their goodies and complimentary coffee.
