Six men arrested in $260K robbery, kidnapping case near Edmond
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Oklahoma County Sheriff Tommie Johnson III announced six arrests at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon after a woman was allegedly kidnapped and robbed near Edmond in June 2024. Dallas Jacquet, 39; Brandon Ford, 43; Kadarryus Caples, 24; Harron Jennings, 28; Gordon Scott II, 33; and Demerce Dennis, 29, have all been arrested in connection to the incident. All six suspects are facing several charges, including conspiracy to commit drug trafficking (marijuana), conspiracy to commit robbery, and conspiracy to commit kidnapping for extortion. A recording of the full press conference can be found at the top of this story. The case began on June 14, 2024, when a Kasey Alert was issued for 43-year-old Isabel Brown who was reportedly last seen near NW 178th St. and MacArthur that afternoon. Oklahoma City Police later told News 4 that Brown had been kidnapped at gunpoint by several masked men outside of an Edmond-area coffee shop. 'No stone unturned': Edmond kidnapping suspect in Oklahoma County Jail, questions remain Brown was reportedly found about 40 minutes later near I-240 and May and had been choked and beaten during the incident, according to the OCSO. Investigators also said the suspects had taken Brown's phone and sent themselves $10,000 from her CashApp, in addition to taking $250,000 in cash Brown had in her car. On July 5, authorities in Dallas arrested Kadarryus Caples in connection to the kidnapping and robbery. Caples was then extradited to Oklahoma County on July 10. New court records allege that six men were part of a Texas-based operation that would purchase large amounts of marijuana from an unknown Asian seller in Oklahoma City to take back to Texas and sell illegally. Investigators identified Jacquet as the one directing and funding the operation. The group would reportedly travel to OKC in multiple vehicles, typically including an F-250 crew cab with a camper shell, and purchase hundreds of pounds of marijuana worth around $100,000 from the seller at a time. According to the affidavit, the men noticed the Brown's Tesla pull up to the seller's house on the day of the kidnapping after they loaded bags of marijuana into the back of the pickup truck and began to leave. Jacquet allegedly told the other men to follow the victim's car and grab Brown when she stopped outside of Coffee Jerks near Edmond leading up to the incident. Investigators were able to identify and arrest the six suspects through the use of video from cameras on Brown's Tesla, Flock cameras, and phone records. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
