CM Yogi inaugurates audio guide facility at Kashi Vishawanth temple

Varanasi: During his two-day visit to Varanasi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday offered prayers at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple on Monday evening and inaugurated the audio guide facility at the temple.
After reviewing development projects and law and order at the Circuit House, he conducted an on-site inspection of the widening and strengthening of the Mohansarai-Cantt road and the construction of a railway overbridge on Mohansarai-Adalpura route.
This project, costing Rs 42.22 crore, is located between Hardattpur and Rajatalab on the Varanasi-Prayagraj rail section. The widening and strengthening of the 11.8 km stretch from Mohansarai to Cantt, including a six-lane service lane on Mohansarai-Deendayal Upadhyay Nagar Chakia route, costing Rs 412.53 crore, is nearly 89% complete.
The CM asked the PWD engineers to expedite work and complete it by Aug this year.
The CM also inspected the construction of a 649.44-metre-long and 7.5-metre-wide two-lane railway overbridge on the Mohansarai-Adalpura route, costing Rs 42.22 crore, between Hardattpur and Rajatalab on the Varanasi-Prayagraj rail section. He said that the remaining work on the completed overbridge should be finished by Aug this year.
Later, he performed rituals and received blessings at the Kashi Kotwal Baba Kalbhairav and Kashi Vishwanath temples. At KV temple, he also inaugurated the audio guide facility.
