‘Tragic, cruel, unnecessary': Ex-U.K. soldier gets four years and three months for ‘vicious' fatal attack inside Toronto bar
Former British soldier Craig Gibson, who delivered three lethal elbows to the head of a Winnipeg entrepreneur in a Toronto bar, was sentenced to four years and three months in prison on Tuesday.
'This was a vicious assault with tragic consequences,' Superior Court Justice Katherine Corrick said, reading her sentencing reasons in a downtown Toronto courtroom.
