New FOX8 special focuses on Holocaust education
(WGHP) — The history of the Holocaust is heartbreaking, disturbing and difficult for a lot of people to understand.
FOX8's Katie Nordeen and McKenzie Lewis are leaving on June 16 for Poland on a nine-day trip, traveling with a Holocaust education group for the new series Teaching the Holocaust.
Ahead of the trip, they've been speaking with students, teachers and a rabbi.
The goal is to help both students and teachers understand the history of the Holocaust better.
