Check this list of 46 unauthorised schools in Pune district before seeking admission

Written by Kavvya Masurkar To safeguard parents from fraudulent admissions in private schools, Pune zilla parishad's primary education department has released a list of 46 schools that operate without government approval or violate rules and regulations. The action follows reports submitted by education officers from the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), and group education officers across the district. District Education Officer Sanjay Naikade has urged parents not to admit their children to schools not recognised by the state government. Administrative officers have been directed to shut down such schools immediately and ensure they do not resume operations. Parents are advised to verify a school's official recognition status before seeking admission there. Officers have been warned that if any of the listed schools continue to function, the accountability will lie with the respective administrative officials in their jurisdiction.
