Maryland woman killed during rollover crash in Wythe County
WYTHE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Virginia State Police said a woman from Maryland was killed in a single-vehicle rollover collision in Wythe County on June 9.
VSP said a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche, driven by 41-year-old Kayla M. Will of New Windsor, Maryland, was on I-81N near mile marker 85 around 7:08 p.m. on Monday when she went off the left side of the road and hit a guardrail. The collision caused the Avalanche to overturn, ejecting Will from the vehicle.
VSP identifies man killed in head-on Smyth County crash
Will was taken to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt, police said.
Virginia State Police said the crash is still being investigated.
