Tyler graduate gets scholarship at Rose Sunday
TYLER, Texas (KETK) – The countdown to the 92nd Texas Rose Festival has started and one Tyler High School graduate was rewarded a scholarship as a part of Rose Sunday.

Kaylee Parson was presented with a scholarship as a part of Rose Sunday in a ceremony at the Tyler Rose Garden. Parson intends to major in nursing at Howard University in Washington D.C. in the fall.
'I know a lot about Tyler, I've lived here my whole life and I love Tyler, I love the rose garden,' said Parson. 'Sometimes me and my sisters used to come down here and just walk and talk and I feel like its very deep to me.'
