Twin Torch Soap and Candle opens for business in Owego
OWEGO, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Mother's Day is this weekend, and a new shop opened up in Owego just in time to get her the perfect gift.
Twin Torch Soap and Candle opened at 690 17-C in Owego and had its grand opening on Friday.
The family-owned business offers natural soaps and hand-poured candles, in a relaxing and welcoming environment.
The owner, Kaylin Kittle, says she was inspired when she took her family on a trip overseas last year. She couldn't believe how few ingredients were used in foreign skin care products like lotion and soap and decided to bring the idea back to the States.
Kittle hand makes flower candles that are the perfect gift for Mother's Day.
'Being Mother's Day weekend, it really is the weekend to do something for your wife, your girlfriend, your mother, someone that is really special, or for yourself. This is a really great space to come and find something,' said Kittle.
There's a bath bomb wall, homemade tea blends, local honey, knick-knacks, and more.
