Kedah KPDN Seizes Counterfeit Bags And Shoes Worth Over RM250,000
ALOR SETAR, May 27 (Bernama) -- The Kedah Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) seized over RM250,000 worth of shoes and bags, suspected to be counterfeit items, near the Bukit Kayu Hitam border checkpoint yesterday.
Its director, Muhammad Nizam Jamaludin, said the seizure was made during a joint operation with a team from the General Operations Force (PGA) at around 8 pm, during which two suspicious lorries were inspected.
'Inspection revealed a number of items wrapped in gunny sacks, suspiciously placed at the back of the lorries.
