PHILADELPHIA - Jalen Hurts is continuing to step up for Philadelphia school students. Hurts, whose 'Keep It Cool' initiative provided air conditioning to 10 schools, is now selling t-shirts to raise money for school supplies for Philly students. What we know The '1 Mission' t-shirt is available to purchase on Jalen Hurts website, Adult sizes are $25 and youth shirts are $20. Money raised through sales of the shirts will go directly to purchasing supplies for Philadelphia classrooms. Local perspective Hurts "Keep It Cool" initiative donated new air conditioning and other upgrades to 10 schools in the School District of Philadelphia last year. Every time Hurts scored a touchdown this season, his foundation has donated $5k to the Keep It Cool initiative. Over 60 Philadelphia public schools were forced to send students home early just days into the new academic year due to inadequate building cooling. Hurts' foundation is trying to chip away at that number by providing an additional minimum donation of $200,000 to bring cooling upgrades to more Philly schools.
