Will In-N-Out Burger be coming to Sumner County? Here's what we know

In-N-Out Burger, the iconic California-based burger chain known for serving up burgers and fries Animal Style, has its sights set on Sumner County. A site plan and a request to add the restaurant to a planned development are on the Hendersonville Planning agenda in March, Hendersonville Planning Director Keith Free said. He says the West Coast burger giant is looking to build at 100 Anderson Lane North in Hendersonville. "I am always excited about a new business coming to Hendersonville, particularly a business with a history of community generosity. In addition to competing for restaurant customers currently in Hendersonville, In-N-Out Burger will bring more people to Hendersonville to increase our total sales tax revenue," Hendersonville Mayor Jamie Clary said. Other city officials are excited by the possibility, Hendersonville Public Information Officer Casey LaMarr said. "We are thrilled they have chosen Hendersonville and know many residents are very excited about this possibility. I look forward to seeing their presentation to planning in March," LaMarr said. The Hendersonville Planning Commission is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. on March 4 at Hendersonville City Hall. More: In-N-Out Burger's progress to open in Middle Tennessee?
