Super Bowl 2025 Chef Reveals What Will Be Served Inside the Luxury Suites and at the Concession Stands

The 2025 Super Bowl attendees can expect a great game and even better food. Held in New Orleans for the 11th time, this year's Super Bowl sees the Kansas City Chiefs face the Philadelphia Eagles in a rematch of the 2023 championship. As fans in the stadium eagerly watch to see who'll take home the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy they can enjoy a taste of New Orleans with concessions and luxury suite menus curated by Sodexo Live!. The hospitality company partnered with the Caesars Superdome to create a sprawling menu featuring Louisiana favorites mixed with game-day classics. Specialty items include three different po' boys (NOLA's signature seafood sandwich), alligator sausage on French bread, a lobster karaage sandwich and a vegetarian twist on Vietnamese bánh mì. Related: Kansas City Chiefs Will Face the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2025 Super Bowl in Rematch of Kelce Bowl Jambalaya and Cajun beef brisket sandwiches will also be available alongside stadium staples like hot dogs, pretzels, nachos and more. "We want to bring to life the city, but also need to remember it's a football game," Sodexo Live!'s national executive chef Carmen Callo tells PEOPLE of crafting the menu. "It's about marrying the cajun, the creole, the French, the southern… a global melting pot that makes New Orleans so special." Callo calls out the surf n' turf po' boy as a star dish. It consists of five colossal gulf shrimp and nine-hour smoked short rib (a nod to the 59th edition of the Super Bowl), as well as mornay and remoulade sauce, lettuce and tomato on bread from the local Leidenheimer Baking Co. In preparation for 62,000 fans attending the Feb. 9 game, Callo and his Sodexo Live! team have ordered thousands of ingredients, with roughly 40% coming from NOLA suppliers. Think 5,000 alligator sausages, 6,500 lbs. of shrimp, 12,000 oysters and over 50,000 Leidenheimer baguettes. Related: When Is the 2025 Super Bowl? The crown jewel of the beverage menu is a loaded spicy bloody mary, garnished with olives, pepperoncini, spicy green beans, celery, cheese, bacon and spicy okra. For a more minimalistic drink with just as much of a kick, the Black Magic contains lime juice, jalapeño syrup and mango purée with a dehydrated lime wheel and black magic cajun seasoning. The famously expensive Super Bowl suites — which can reportedly cost up to $2 million — have even more offerings. Callo notes that the beef will "make for a great photo op and delicious meal!" Sodexo Live! held multiple tastings internally and with the NFL "to ensure that at every tier of service, there is a fun, authentically New Orleans menu offering that meets the moment for the fans," says Callo. Ex-Eagles star Jason Kelce reveals if he's rooting for Philadelphia or brother Travis in the Super Bowl

Jason Kelce has revealed which team he'll be cheering on in the Super Bowl. This year's game will see the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles. It leaves Jason in a predicament as he played as a center for the Eagles for 13 seasons before retiring last year while his younger brother Travis is a tight end for the Chiefs. The two teams previously played each other in the 2023 Super Bowl — nicknamed the Kelce Bowl because of the brothers' face-off. Travis and the Chiefs came out on top that year. During the most recent episode of the brothers' New Heights podcast on Wednesday (January 29), Jason admitted he'd been asked a lot about who he'd be supporting on the big day. 'Here's the biggest thing. Obviously, you're my brother. I always root for my brother. That's the reality of it,' Jason said. 'Even though I'm decked out in Eagles gear, I'm always going to root for Travis. But there's a lot of people in the Philadelphia organization, whether it's players, coaches, people in the building that feel like extended family to me, especially my former linemen, like Lane Johnson feels like a brother in a lot of ways.' 'And I'm rooting for those guys too. I'm rooting for Philadelphia and I'm rooting for Travis Kelce,' the older Kelce brother added. 'That's the reality of it. No matter what on game day, I'm going to be happy for one of those sides and I'm going to be sad for the other side.' Despite no longer playing, Jason said he expects this year's Super Bowl to feel similar to the one played against his brother in 2023 because he still lives in Philadelphia and regularly visits Lincoln Field 'I still feel like I am a Philadelphia Eagle and that I'm a part of all of these people that root and cheer on our team,' he said. He explained that one team was going to lose regardless, but he 'would be lying' if he said he didn't want the Eagles to win. 'I want them to, but I also want Travis Kelce to win,' Jason said. 'So, that's a long-winded way of saying, I just want to see a good football game and whoever wins, I'm going to be happy for that guy.' This year's Super Bowl will be held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday, February 9. The Superdome last held the event in 2013, when the Ravens beat the 49ers 34-31, and it has held seven Super Bowls overall, with the first dating back to 1978. Kendrick Lamar was confirmed as the main act for the halftime show in September with long-time collaborator SZA as one of the supporting acts. The national anthem will be sung by Jon Batiste. This year's game will kick off on Sunday, February 9 at 6:30 p.m. ET and will be available to watch on Fox.

Brittany Mahomes slams Bills fans over ‘disgusting' act as she celebrates Chiefs victory

Brittany Mahomes didn't hesitate to rub salt in the wounds of Buffalo Bills fans after the Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC Championship game. On Sunday (January 28) the wife of the Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, shared a post on her Instagram Story to celebrate the team making its way to its third consecutive Super Bowl after being the Bills 32 to 29. 'Thank you all for your concerns with 15 this season, see y'all in New Orleans,' she wrote against a black screen, referencing her husband's football jersey number. She signed it off: 'His wife.' The mother of three then posted a photo from a tailgate in Buffalo when the Chiefs played them in November showing a Kermit the Frog toy hanging from what appears to be a noose. Patrick has sparked frequent comparisons to the Muppet character over the years for his voice. The doll had also been dressed in a Chiefs number 15 shirt. 'Do we remember this Buffalo? Absolutely disgusting,' Brittany wrote. 'So as you go home tonight, I pray we become better people.' When preparing for the Super Bowl in 2023, Patrick told reporters that he's heard comments about his voice since he was a child. 'People make fun of my voice for my entire life. I've got news about it, it's like the joke that keeps giving,' he said at the time. 'I've heard it all. I've heard of Kermit the Frog, I've heard the smoking cigarettes, whatever it is, but it's unique, so maybe I'll get a deal from that for having that unique voice.' The Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9. It is the fifth time in the last six years that the Chiefs have reached the Super Bowl, winning three of the last five. Speaking after the AFC win on Sunday, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce said of the rematch against the Eagles: 'We know they're gonna have a sour taste in their mouth from the last time we played them in the Super Bowl. 'That being said, we gotta go to work. We gotta go to work and make sure we're ready to handle it.' The Eagles and Chiefs previously played each other in the 2023 Super Bowl, which saw the Chiefs win 38 to 35. The game was given the nickname the 'Kelce Bowl' because brothers Jason (center for the Eagles) and Travis faced off in the season finale for the first time.
