KUDAT: Over 3,000 job seekers attended the Kembara Kerjaya Madani SPA X Semarak Esscom X MyFutureJobs programme, held over two days in Kudat and Pulau Banggi. Public Services Commission of Malaysia (SPA) Chairman Datuk Dr Ahmad Jailani Muhamed Yunus said the programme featured various activities, including SPA consultation services related to public service recruitment. He said visitors were also briefed on the suitability of the positions they applied for, application status checking, registration through the SPA9 system, and initiatives under MyFutureJobs. 'There were also interview tips sharing sessions by the Commission members as well as career and security briefings by the Eastern Sabah Security Command and the Social Security Organisation,' he said in a statement today. He added that 37 participants from ministries, departments, agencies, and private sector employers participated. This group included representatives from the Education Services Commission, the Sabah State Public Service Commission, the Health Ministry Training Institutes, and GIATMARA. Additionally, participants came from the Fire and Rescue Department, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, and the Malaysian Cocoa Board. Ahmad said this programme was a continuation of career initiatives organised by SPA in Sabah throughout 2024, covering areas such as Tambunan, Telupid, Sandakan, Sukau, and Semporna. The Kudat and Pulau Banggi career programme was also enlivened by the Jualan Rahmah Madani sale organised by the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry and a screening counter by the Sabah State Health Department. * Follow us on Instagram and join our Telegram and/or WhatsApp channel(s) for the latest news you don't want to miss. * Do you have access to the Daily Express e-paper and online exclusive news?
