North East residents get a lesson in stained glass art
Stained glass is a popular form of art in churches and other old buildings and some people got a chance to make their own.
The Clear Cut Stained Glass Studio held a four-hour stained glass workshop at the North East Arts Council on Vine Street.

Students crafted their own stained glass artwork every step of the way from cutting and grinding pieces of glass to combining those pieces into a final product.
One of the class instructors said it can be a complicated process, but it's all worth it for the final outcome.

'Stained glass is beautiful, every time we go to another city, I'm looking for a cathedral to go see the stained glass. Seeing it go from on the table, dark, messy, dirty to cleaning it and putting it in the light, there's something awe-inspiring,' said Ken Falkenhagen, Clearcut Stained Glass Owner & Instructor.
