Sanskrit institution in Tiruchi announces admission for 2025-26
The Samskrita Surabhi Samskrita Bhasha Prachara Kendram in Tiruchi, an off-campus institution affiliated with Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, has announced admissions for the academic year 2025-26. The institution invites students and Sanskrit enthusiasts to enroll in a wide range of Sanskrit courses aimed at promoting and preserving the ancient language among school students and the general public.
The Kendram offers exclusive Sanskrit courses for CBSE schoolchildren from Classes VI to XII. The school-based programmes are Prathama (for 6th–8th std), Purva Madhyama (for 9th & 10th Std), and Prak Sastri (for 11th & 12th std). These programmes, conducted within school hours, is to enable students to attain university-recognised qualifications while pursuing their regular academic studies.
In addition to this, the institution offers certificate, diploma, advanced, and Post Graduate diploma courses in Sanskrit for eligible candidates. The certificate course is open to students aged above 13. No prior knowledge of Sanskrit is required. The diploma course is open to students aged above 18 with either a Certificate course qualification or Sanskrit as a 2nd/3rd language from Class IX.
The advanced certificate course is for students aged above 15 who have Sanskrit as a compulsory subject in school. The advanced diploma course is open to those aged above 20 with a diploma or equivalent Sanskrit background. The PG diploma course is available for students aged above 20 who have completed Plus Two and undergraduate studies, with Sanskrit as their 1st or 2nd language. The courses are conducted both online and offline on the Tiruchi campus, a press release from the institution's founder chairman V. Ramachandran said.
