Local standout nominated for McDonald's All-American
HERMITAGE, Pa. (WKBN) – Kennedy Catholic Layke Fields has been nominated for the 2025 McDonald's All-American Basketball Team.
The 2025 McDonald's All-American Game will take place this April at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The top 24 girls selected will have a chance to play in the game with the winners being announced soon.
This season, Fields is averaging 22.2 points, 13.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 2.9 blocks per game for the Golden Eagles.
Fields has helped lead Kennedy Catholic to back-to-back state titles and is eyeing a third straight championship this Spring.
