Scots property set on fire as cops appeal for information
Around 11.25pm on Saturday, emergency services received a report of a fire at a property in the Kilbarchan Road area of Bridge of Weir
Police are appealing for witnesses after a wilful fire raising in Bridge of Weir, Renfrewshire.
Around 11.25pm on Saturday, emergency services received a report of a fire at a property in the Kilbarchan Road area.
The fire was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and enquiries are ongoing.
Detective Sergeant Kenny Taggart, of Paisley CID said, 'The fire was set alight within a residential area and caused considerable distress and alarm to nearby residents. Thankfully, there were no reports of any injuries.'
