Leahy BTV welcomes new coffee spot and flights to Charleston
BURLINGTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) – Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport is welcoming a locally-based coffee brand and a new nonstop service to Charleston.
Kestrel Coffee Roasters will open a location at Leahy BTV in mid-to-late summer 2025. This will be Kestrel's fourth location in the state.
Their new space will overlook the Terminal Integration Project (TIP) escalators. Kestrel will offer coffee, smoothies, breakfast 'sammies', pastries and more.
Mayor Emma Mulvaney-Stanak said that she appreciates the airport team 'and their dedication to supporting Vermont businesses, and ensuring positive passenger experiences at the airport.'
On top of the new Kestrel Coffee Roasters station, Breeze Airways is adding service flights to Charleston from Leahy BTV. The airline offers affordable service where 'Burlington travelers can book summer seasonal flights to Charleston on Mondays and Fridays with fares from just $49 one-way,' according to their announcement release.
Potential passengers can book flights today. The first nonstop flights to Charleston from Leahy BTV will begin May 30.
