Two arrested after 175 mushroom bars, stolen firearm, drugs seized in Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Two people were arrested in Springfield on Valentine's Day after a stolen firearm, mushroom bars, and drugs were seized during a traffic stop.

On Friday, Springfield Police Firearms Investigation Unit (FIU) Detectives were trying to locate a 17-year-old boy who had an active arrest warrant. At around 5:30 p.m., Detectives saw the boy and a second person, who was later identified as 21-year-old Keyshawn Watson of Springfield, get into a car on the 700 block of State Street.
A traffic stop was conducted and the 17-year-old was placed under arrest. Watson was found holding marijuana during the traffic stop. Detectives recovered a loaded firearm with 13 rounds of ammunition, 15.5 oxycodone pills, 43 grams (1.5 ounces) of marijuana, $830 in cash, and 175 mushroom bars were seized from the vehicle. The firearm was reported stolen out of New Hampshire.

Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Class B Drug

Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Class D Drug
Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
Due to the boy's age, the 17-year-old's name, booking photo, and specific charges will not be released.
