HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman stressed the need for educational and training institutions to keep pace with developments in the labour market and the emergence of new job patterns. Job opportunities The purpose of 'Career Day' is to introduce students to the various job opportunities offered by private sector institutions, and to guide them in choosing the most suitable specialisations in the labour market. Students and graduates have the opportunity to meet with HR representatives from the 51 institutions and companies participating from both the public and private sectors. Additionally, they are introduced to the Ministry of Labour's programs for employment, qualification, and training of citizens, provided in cooperation with the Labour Fund, Tamkeen, as part of the joint national efforts to meet the market's needs with qualified Bahraini talents, and to ensure that the citizen remains the first choice in the labour market.

Labour Ministry Undersecretary Inaugurates Career Day Event at ASU

Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour, inaugurated the 11th Career Day event organised by the Applied Sciences University (ASU). HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman highlighted the continuation of the Ministry's efforts, in collaboration with relevant entities, to develop the training and education system in the Kingdom of Bahrain. According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman emphasised the aim to align educational and training outcomes with the labour market's needs for qualified national resources. He noted the importance of enhancing the role of career guidance and counseling to support the choices of graduates and job seekers and assist them in integrating into their professional lives. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman highlighted the necessity for educational and training institutions to keep pace with the latest developments and trends in the labour market, as well as the emerging job patterns within it. Career Day aims to familiarise students with job opportunities in the private sector and help them choose the most suitable specialisations for the job market. University students and graduates can meet HR representatives from 51 public and private sector institutions and companies. The event also introduces the students to the Ministry of Labour's employment, training, and qualification programmes, offered in collaboration with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen). These national efforts aim to meet market demands for skilled Bahraini talent while ensuring that citizens remain the preferred choice in the job market.
