Russians attack Kharkiv with Shahed drones: 2 killed, 30 injured, including children
Russian forces have attacked the city of Kharkiv with Shahed drones, killing two people and injuring 30 others, including five children. Later, he reported two more explosions in the city. Quote from Syniehubov: "The occupiers carried out a series of strikes on the Shevchenkivskyi district in Kharkiv, with early reports indicating that they used Shahed drones. At this moment, [we know that] two people have been injured. Emergency services have arrived at the scenes of the strikes." Details: Later, Syniehubov reported another strike in the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv, with no casualties. At 21:31, he confirmed that a drone hit a house in the Shevchenkivskyi district, leaving one person dead and another injured. At 21:45, Syniehubov reported that the number of casualties following the large-scale Russian attack had risen to 10, including a 16-year-old boy and girl. One person was killed. Terekhov stated that drone strikes were recorded at six locations; they hit a shopping centre, multi-storey residential buildings, a medical facility and an office building. At 22:04, Syniehubov said that the number of people injured in the attack on Kharkiv had increased to 14, 10 people were taken to hospital, including 2 children. Terekhov noted that one person was trapped under the rubble at the scene of the strike. A rescue operation is underway. Later, he reported that 15 people had been injured. At 22:37, Terekhov said that the number of casualties had risen to 19. At around 23:20, Terekhov reported that the death toll had increased to two, with 27 injured. Rescue workers had retrieved a body from under the rubble. The search and rescue operation in the Kholodnohirskyi district continues. Syniehubov added that the casualties included five children aged 5 to 17. Three were taken to hospital, while two received medical aid on-site. Updated: The number of people injured by the Russian bombardment of Kharkiv has risen to 30, Dmytro Chubenko, spokesman for Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office, told Suspilne Kharkiv, a Kharkiv-related branch of Ukrainian public broadcaster Suspilne. Russian Shahed drone strike kills goats in eco-park near Kharkiv
Animals have been killed in Feldman Ecopark in Kharkiv Oblast as a result of a Russian attack. A Shahed drone struck near the petting zoo, where domestic animals were kept, on the night of 2-3 March. Updated: The Office of the Prosecutor General has announced the launch of a pre-trial investigation into a war crime (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The investigation has established that at approximately 01:00 on 3 March, a Russian UAV attacked the settlement of Lisne in the outskirts of Kharkiv, where Feldman Ecopark is located. As a result of the attack, animal enclosures were destroyed and animals were killed. "All possible and appropriate measures are being taken to document the war crimes committed by Russian servicemen," law enforcement officials stated. Large-scale fire breaks after Russian attack in Kharkiv
An explosion occurred in Kharkiv on the night of 27-28 January. Mayor Ihor Terekhov has reported a strike and fire in the Novobavarskyi district. The State Emergency Service has later provided details about the strike and confirmed a large-scale fire covering 1,500 square metres.
