Three civilians injured in Russian attack on Kherson Oblast, one in serious condition
Three civilians were wounded in Russian attacks on the village of Bilozerka in Kherson Oblast, on Sunday 6 April. Source: Kherson Oblast Administration Details: At around 13:00, the Russians shelled the village with artillery. A man, 75, was injured in the attack. An ambulance crew took him to hospital with explosive and craniocerebral injuries, contusion and shrapnel wounds. The man is in serious condition. Later, Bilozerka once again came under attack from Russian artillery. Two women, aged 58 and 60, were injured in the shelling. They sustained explosive and craniocerebral injuries and contusions. Russian forces failed to secure positions on islands near Kherson eight times last week
Russian forces attempted to conduct eight assaults on Ukrainian positions near the city of Kherson last week. Ukrainian defence forces successfully repelled these attacks, killing 135 Russian soldiers and destroying 53 units of military equipment. Details: Drohal stated that Russian forces carried out 551 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders and civilian infrastructure in the area of responsibility of the Kherson Operational and Tactical Group between 10 and 16 February. Additionally, the Russians launched two airstrikes and one missile strike. Russian troops continue to actively use UAVs of various types and modifications.
