Head constable goes missing, leaves emotional note
Vadodara: A head constable posted at Bapod police station, Alpesh Khodaji, went missing on Monday night after leaving behind a two-page note. Khodaji, who resided in the police lines at Panigate, is originally from Banaskantha.
According to police sources, Khodaji's note expressed emotional distress. He wrote that he was being "called by his grandfather" and was therefore "leaving the world." He also mentioned his sorrow over his wife's unhappiness and requested his family not to search for him.
In the note, Khodaji instructed that the plot of land he had purchased should be given to his daughter, and his motorbike should be handed over to his father.
Before disappearing, he sent the note via WhatsApp to a friend. The police have since launched a search operation and are gathering information from his family members, including his wife, to trace his whereabouts.
