Telenor launches next-generation CMS
ISLAMABAD: Telenor Pakistan launched its next-generation Commission Management System (CMS), aimed at revolutionising how commissions are calculated and disbursed across its retail and franchise network.
Powered by SAP and hosted on Google Cloud, the newly deployed CMS is designed to enhance transparency, ensure real-time accuracy, and build stronger relationships with channel partners. The successful implementation was carried out in collaboration with Telenor's system integration partner, Tallymarks Consulting (TMC).
The launch ceremony, held at Telenor's Islamabad headquarters, was attended by senior company officials including CEO Khurrum Ashfaque, Chief Technology Officer Awais Naseem Vohra, Chief Consumer Business Officer Waqas Aman Ullah, and Vice President IT Qurban Ali.
'This marks a significant milestone in our ongoing digitalization and transformation journey,' said Khurrum Ashfaque, CEO of Telenor Pakistan. 'CMS is a key component in strengthening our operational backbone while empowering our partners.'
Waqas Aman Ullah, CCBU head, emphasised that the CMS is a "key differentiator" in the competitive telecom landscape. 'It helps build long-term, sustainable relationships with our partners while driving enhanced business performance,' he noted.
Highlighting the technical evolution, CTO Awais Naseem Vohra said, 'CMS is a step forward in Telenor Pakistan's journey to become a truly digital player. It will further solidify our bond with retailers by catering to their evolving needs.'
The CMS offers instant visibility into earnings, data-driven campaign insights, and ensures timely payouts—fostering trust and efficiency. It is also expected to improve customer experiences by enabling more tailored offerings through intelligent data analytics.
