2025 Arizona Cardinals offseason roster profile: DL Khyiris Tonga

The Arizona Cardinals are in offseason mode and we are still several weeks away from free agency and two months from the NFL draft. Over the next two weeks, we will take a look at each player on the roster or signed to a reserve deal and break down where they stand with the team. We will look at their 2024 season, their contract status and what their status is for the coming offseason and 2025 season. Next up is defensive lineman Khyiris Tonga. Tonga, who signed a one-year contract as an unrestricted free agent in 2024, was a rotational piece on the line and played 13 games (one start), while being inactive for four games. He compiled 22 tackles (6 solo), but did not have any other numbers for his 229 snaps (27 percent). After signing that one-year deal last year, Tonga is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent again on March 12. It is not expected that Tonga would be a priority re-signing for the Cardinals, even for another one-year deal, given the number of linemen expected to be part of the room during the offseason.
