We don't learn the name of Uma Thurman's villain, but we do find out she's apparently the very first of the Immortals, and she doesn't seem very happy about what Charlize Theron's Andy and her team of mercenaries have been doing.
In a voiceover, she says, "For centuries, I've watched you fight to protect humanity while forsaking your own kind. I will destroy you and everything you stand for with a power you can't even imagine yet."

The trailer ends with Thurman's villain and Theron's Andy locked in a fierce battle, and it's tough to see the former wielding a sword and not think of her fighting off the Crazy 88s in "Kill Bill: Vol. 1".
As Andy mentions in the trailer, she lost her immortality as a result of the events of 2020's "The Old Guard" and has a lot more to lose than Thurman's bad guy.
The official synopsis for "The Old Guard 2" reads, "Andy (Charlize Theron) and her team of immortal warriors are back, with a renewed sense of purpose in their mission to protect the world. With Booker (Matthias Schoenaerts) still in exile after his betrayal, and Quynh (Veronica Ngô) out for revenge after escaping her underwater prison, Andy grapples with her newfound mortality as a mysterious threat emerges that could jeopardize everything she's worked towards for thousands of years.
Andy, Nile (KiKi Layne), Joe (Marwan Kenzari), Nicky (Luca Marinelli) and James Copley (Chiwetel Ejiofor) enlist the help of Tuah (Henry Golding), an old friend who may provide the key to unlocking the mystery behind immortal existence."
"The Old Guard 2" releases on Netflix on July 2, 2025.
July promises to be a great month for Uma Thurman fans, as well as one filled with villainy. The same month, Thurman begins her time as one of the antagonists in the revival series "Dexter: Resurrection". Thurman plays Charley, the security head for billionaire Leon Prater (Peter Dinklage).
