Kirsty McColl approved as replacement for Darcey Carter in Scotland squad at the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 Qualifier

The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 Qualifier has approved Kirsty McColl as a replacement for Darcey Carter in the Scotland squad. McColl was named as a replacement after Carter was ruled out after sustaining an injury to the right hand. The replacement of a player requires the approval of the Event Technical Committee before the replacement player can be officially added to the squad. The Event Technical committee of the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 Qualifier consists of Gaurav Saxena (ICC General Manager – Events & Corporate Communications), Clive Hitchcock (ICC Senior Cricket Operations Manager), Christian Chiketa (ICC Manager – Global Pathway Events), Usman Wahla (PCB Director International Cricket Operations), Shandre Fritz (ICC Match Referee).
