Edinburgh Marathon 2025: Spot yourself in the crowd at this years event
After thousands took to the streets for the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on Sunday, images of participants giving their all have been released.
Spread across two days, the events saw around 35,000 participants take part. They got involved with the 5K, 10K, half marathon and full marathon.
The top three females in the full marathon were Melissah Gibson, who ran it in two hours and 38 minutes. Kirsty Oldham came in second, finishing at two hours and 45 minutes - with Emily Soanes coming in soon after at two hours and 47 minutes.
Marshall Smith was the first male, coming in at two hours and 22 minutes. Ben Holmes came in second at two hours and 26 minutes, with Kris Lecher coming in third at two hours and 27 minutes.

Posting to Facebook after the event, the festival said: "WHAT. A. WEEKEND!!
"Today was just incredible, congratulations to each and every one of you who crossed the finish line this weekend. Your dedication, hard work and perseverance have paid off, and we couldn't be prouder of you all.
