To understand farmers' issues, govt holds ‘kisan samvad' in Buxar
Buxar: Aiming at understanding the problems of farmers and finding solutions to them, the state govt organised 'Kisan Kalyan Samvad' and 'Kisan Yuva Samman Samaroh' at
Buxar District Registration cum Counselling Centre
(DRCC) under the chairmanship of deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha, who is also the state agriculture minister, on Tuesday.
Under 'Krishi Yuva Kalyan Samman', a dialogue was held with the young farmers of the district, who have done remarkable work in the field of innovation in agriculture,
organic farming
, horticulture, floriculture or technological upgrade, to inspire other farmers.
The minister said there is immense potential for organic farming in Buxar district.
Buxar district magistrate (DM) Anshul Agarwal said that all necessary efforts are being made to develop Buxar as a role model in farming with the use of latest technologies.

Along with this, the progress of the works of the agriculture, and mines and geology departments was reviewed in the Collectorate.
Agriculture secretary Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, special secretary Birendra Kumar Yadav, director Nitin Kumar Singh, the superintendent of police, deputy development commissioner, district agriculture officer and mineral development officer among others were present.
