Chocolate lovers race to find 'banging' new KitKat flavour that tastes 'amazing'
It's only available to buy online at the moment, but that hasn't stopped shoppers trying to get their hands on the sweet treat
Nestle has sent chocolate fans wild by debuting a new KitKat Chunky flavour. However, there is a catch, as it is currently only available to buy online.
The giant version of the iconic four-finger treat has become a fan favourite since it launched in 1999, with various different iterations including caramel, peanut butter, alongside limited editions such as Biscoff and white chocolate.
Now there is a new kid on the block, the KitKat Chunky Rolo, which has already sent devoted fans into a spin after an announcement was recently shared to the New Foods UK's social media platforms.
The devoted foodie group took to both Instagram and Facebook to share the exciting new addition, confirming that it is officially available to buy online via with a 48g bar on offer for £2.75, but regularly retailing at £2.99.
Originally sold in Canada, the KitKat Rolo boasts crispy wafers and a creamy Rolo caramel filling that has been layered in a smooth, milk chocolate coating.
The New Foods UK Facebook caption for the new snack read: "These Rolo KitKats are amazing!! Now available at WorldSnacksuk."
Over 700 chocolate lovers flocked to the comments section to express their enthusiasm over trying to find the snack, as one wrote: "Oh don't!!! I'm far too obsessed with chunky kitkats for my own good!!! It's like the universe doesn't want me to be thin."
Someone from across the seas wrote: "Swear I'm flying to the UK solely for your snacks."
One shopper who wanted to find them expressed: "I know being good but looks banging"

While someone else simply said: "Omg I want."
And another added: "Keep your eyes peeled WIDE."
However, not everyone was as impressed, with some being disappointed that it seemed to be very similar to another popular flavour, just with a different packaging and name.
One such shopper said: "Isn't this just the same as a chunky caramel?"
A similar shopper echoing the sentiment wrote: "Just a caramel KitKat then?"
Meanwhile, someone else who wasn't overly keen on trying the Rolo flavour said: "There's no need to mess with a KitKat. Wish they'd stop now."
It comes just after Toblerone confirmed it was axing its beloved dark chocolate bar in the UK, with the firm's owners Mondelez confirming it was being discontinued after six decades due to "changing tastes" in consumers.
