Arizona Cardinals cap 2025 NFL draft taking Nevada S Kitan Crawford in the 7th round

Arizona Cardinals cap 2025 NFL draft taking Nevada S Kitan Crawford in the 7th round The Cardinals ended their 2025 draft taking an athletic safety with extensive special teams experience. The Arizona Cardinals wrapped up their work in the NFL draft on Saturday with their seventh-round selection. Using the 225th pick in the draft, the selection they received from the Kansas City Chiefs last year for pass rusher Cam Thomas, they took one more defensive player, landing Nevada safety Kitan Crawford. Crawford is very athletic. At 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds, he ran the 40 in 4.41 seconds, had a 6.81-second three-cone, 41.5-inch vertical and 128-inch broad jump. He spent four seasons playing for Texas before transferring to Nevada for his final season. In 2024, he had 76 tackles, three tackles for loss, two interceptions and seven pass breakups. But what will earn him a spot on the roster as a rookie will be his special teams play. He logged 1,010 special teams snaps in his career, had 17 special team tackles and blocked both a field goal and a punt. And that wraps up the Cardinals' 2025 draft. They took six defensive players and one offensive lineman. They addressed every position on defense. Crawford is the final part.
