Pair of Newington men arrested on for sale of narcotics
HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Two Newington men were arrested Tuesday following an investigation into the narcotics being sold in Hartford.
Sanl Mehmedovic, 33, and Klajdi Avdiaj, 32, were arrested after police seized 220 grams of cocaine, $116,000 cash, a 2018 Dodge Ram, and 10 firearms which included assault rifles.
Hamden police make 2 arrests for illegal drug sales
Mehmedovic was charged with possession and sale of narcotics along with possession of an assault rifle and a high-capacity magazine. Avdiaj was charged with possession and sale of narcotics.
The Hartford Police Vice and Narcotics Unit was assisted by the Newington and Wethersfield police forces along with the FBI Taskforce.
