Jordan Klepper Gets Alarming Confession From Gen-Z Charlie Kirk Fan
Jordan Klepper hit the Gen-Z MAGA trail and found a guy who likes to be told what to say by right-wing commentator Charlie Kirk. 'The Daily Show' co-host visited a Turning Point USA event to discover why its co-founder, Kirk, is a 'pied piper' for the expanding constituency of Trump youth. Kirk is notoriously known for comments like, 'If I see a Black pilot, I'm gonna be like, 'Boy, I hope he's qualified'' and 'white college-indoctrinated women will ruin America if we let them.' In the segment shown Monday, one dude in a MAGA hat tried to explain how Kirk gives him a voice when his own words fail him. As the man struggled to explain, Klepper interjected, 'You needed somebody to be more articulate for you' and 'You're looking for somebody to put words in your mouth.' 'Yes, well, not like that exactly,' the man responded, before ultimately agreeing with Klepper's assessment. ″[Kirk] puts the words in your mouth,' Klepper clarified. 'Yeah, making enough sense for me so I memorize what he says, then I can freely say it,' the guy replied. 'Exactly, so basically his words become your own,' Klepper said. 'Yes,' the Trump supporter answered. 'His thoughts become your own,' Klepper said. 'It's awesome,' the man responded. 'Daily Show' co-host shocked most young male Trump voters he met were 'pretty kind'
"The Daily Show" co-host Jordan Klepper said Thursday he was a little surprised by the lack of "cruelty" he experienced when meeting with young, male Trump voters. As part of his upcoming Comedy Central documentary "MAGA: The Next Generation," Klepper met with several college-aged men to understand the demographic that swung wildly in favor of President Donald Trump in the 2024 election. "I had such a cynical perspective of the youth walking into this thing," Klepper told Variety. "I expected to be confronted by a bunch of d--- — 22-year-olds who want to rail on trans people in sports and kick out all the immigrants. But the cruelty wasn't there." 'Daily Show' Co-host Jordan Klepper Calls Out Studio Audience For Cheering Tesla Arsonists Despite describing "dicey" experiences during Trump's first term, Klepper said most of the people he met were "pretty kind" and more interested in the excitement and celebrity surrounding Trump than politics itself. "MAGA was suddenly framed by pundits in the manosphere as punk rock, as counterculture," Klepper said, adding, "[T]he algorithms on these social media sites lean toward the aggressive and the hyperbolic, and it's shaping the conversation." Read On The Fox News App Based on his interactions, Klepper felt more confident that the "MAGA movement" could be dissolved politically once it no longer has the "attention and fame" behind it. In the meantime, "The Daily Show" could be facing its own challenges in the near future as its parent company, Paramount, remains locked in a billion-dollar lawsuit with Trump after the latter accused CBS News of election interference in a "60 Minutes" interview. Click Here For More Coverage Of Media And Culture The lawsuit has already resulted in longtime "60 Minutes" producer Bill Owens resigning in April. Though Klepper insisted his show so far hasn't been pressured by Paramount to make any changes, he remained uncertain if things would stay that way. "The future is always a big question mark, industry-wise, administration-wise. Who knows if free speech will be legal six months from now?" Klepper said. "I can't f---ing control any of that, so I'm going to enjoy what we have right now."Original article source: 'Daily Show' co-host shocked most young male Trump voters he met were 'pretty kind'

'Daily Show' Finds Perfect Metaphor For Trump's 100 Days Back In Office
'The Daily Show' host Jordan Klepper on Tuesday mocked the apparent confusion over exactly when President Donald Trump should celebrate his 100th day back in office. Klepper aired a montage of news clips in which various outlets couldn't seem to agree on whether the significant day was Tuesday or Wednesday. 'Oh, my God. This is how divided we've become under Trump,' Klepper quipped. 'We can't even agree on how counting works.' He continued: 'It's hard to think of a better metaphor for how the first 100 days have gone — but, here's one.' The show then cut to a news report about a U.S. fighter jet that, per the anchor, 'fell off an aircraft carrier in the Red Sea sinking to the bottom of the ocean' after the USS Harry S. Truman was 'making evasive maneuvers to avoid Houthi militant fire,' according to The Guardian. 'Oh, no, no, no. America's doing great. We're doing great,' Klepper sarcastically said. Jordan Klepper Exposes This 'Sloppy' Trump Admin Move Amid 'DEI Purge'
'Daily Show' host Jordan Klepper didn't hold back on Thursday as he clowned President Donald Trump's administration for not being able to do a 'classic DEI purge right.' Klepper turned to an ABC World News Tonight report on the Pentagon's removal and swift restoration of a story on baseball icon Jackie Robinson's U.S. Army service. The move arrives amid the Trump administration's push to rid of 'diversity, equity and inclusion' in the federal government. A senior U.S. military official told ABC News' Rachel Scott that the Pentagon uses digital software to scrub 'DEI' content from its website and, ultimately, the stories on the player that broke Major League Baseball's color barrier were 'removed by mistake.' Klepper didn't waste time mocking the Defense Department's explanation, 'Oh, don't blame us, blame our racist software. We should have never used ChatKKK. Classic mistake.' He added that it wasn't the 'most embarrassing anti-DEI flub,' however, before playing a clip detailing photos the Pentagon flagged for removal as their file featured the word 'gay,' which was reportedly the case with a snap of the Enola Gay aircraft — which dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima in World War II. 'That's how lazy they were with this, they just control f'd for gay-sounding keywords and deleted anything that showed up,' Klepper quipped. 'Now kids won't know about the Enola Gay, they won't know about transport planes and they'll never hear about the heroic service of Captain Grindr McScissoring. Tragic. What's extra tragic is this could have all been avoided if they just named the plane Enola Gay No Homo, you know?' Watch more of Klepper's Thursday monologue below.
